For the final Tourism 2 class Sojourner Walker, a Teach for America alum, teacher in Moz, as well as my friend, graced the University with her presence. She lead a workshop about how to reuse

materials you might throw away. The students (year 2) had a ball and were using grand creativity to create some rather interesting jun...I mean stuff. It was kind a like a 3rd grade art class...but really great for them because they got to use their imaginations, resourcefulness, English language--all excellent things in the tourist industry--and were allowed to create something new.
Some highlights were a gold-painted coconut (I don't know what that was for:), a condom box pencil holder, a bookcase, a bottle for water, greeting cards and envelopes, a shoulder bag,an engagement ring matchbox, cutout letters for a language class, and lots more I can't think of now.

Thanks a lot, Sojo!
(ps, is the guy in the big photo above taking a photo of my camera taking a photo?)
