Rainy Holiday

I am in my hotel room in Nampula now. It is a holiday in Mozambique (Moz Heroes Day), but instead of heading to the beach as I originally planned, I decided to stay in and continue working on the goals and objectives for the English curriculum I am working on for a Medical University in the North of Mozambique. I am so happy to be back to work. And doing teacher training and curriculum assessment and consultations is why I came here so to finally be able to do it is great.

It turned out to be a good idea to stay in: First of all because the internet started working after being off for an entire week--7 days! Second of all because the sky just opened up an it is storming outside. Here I am on my dry balcony at the hotel looking at it:

I will get to the beach soon enough. I really want to head to Ilha de Mozambique (Mozambique Island) to take photos with my new medium format camera! In the meantime it is back to work.
