Photos from the Timbila (wooden xylophone) Festival in Quissico, Zavala, Mozambique. People said that this years festival was not as good as in the past becasue the president came through earlier in the year and the city spent a bunch of money preparing for his "pass through." The show did go on, though.
This blog is my effort to show family and friends my life as an English Language Fellow in Inhambane, Mozambique. I hope my stories and photos from my post at the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo will show that this is truly "A Terra de Boa Gente" (The Land of Good People).
