MOZ 5 Reunion....not really
I forgot to post that after hanging with Andrew and meeting some nice folks, Neha, another returned volunteer from Moz, came into town on business. We all went to the most random but friggin' awesome Italian restaurant called Savane. It looks like your run-of-the-mill Mozambican beer joint where you can always ask for a frango (chicken) or some fries. However, according to Andrew, Italians own the place so they serve great appetizers and we had three different kinds of gnocchi (3 cheese, olive oil-garlic-hot pepper, and pesto, real, delicious pesto), as well as this chocolatey dessert. Who would have thought? I love slow dinners outside. No time constraints. Relaxed conversation. Laughter. Nederburg. Aw, Mozambique.
